Temporomandibular disorders (TMDs) are understudied, but carry huge implications for quality of life.  Accurate and timely diagnosis is critical. An interdisciplinary approach is required in order to treat the whole person, as TMDs are multifactorial and can co-occur with chronic overlapping pain conditions. Dr. Suzie Bergman, a longtime TMD patient and dentist, will share her personal and professional insights about these disorders and appropriate care pathways.
