Speaker Proposal

The American Association of Women Dentists (AAWD) invites you to submit proposals for speaking engagements at our 2027 Conference, to be held in Las Vegas, Nevada. 

Session Topics:

We are seeking dynamic speakers to present on topics aligned with our theme in the following areas:

  • Leadership & Mentorship: Fostering growth, confidence, and influence in professional and academic settings.
  • Emerging Technologies: Exploring the digital tools and innovations shaping the future of dentistry.
  • Women in Dentistry: Highlighting success stories, challenges, and opportunities unique to women professionals.
  • Wellness & Balance: Maintaining personal and professional well-being in demanding dental careers.
  • Academic Excellence: Advancing dental education and clinical research through innovation and collaboration.

Session Duration:

Sessions may be scheduled for 1, 1.5, or 3 hours (limited availability), allowing for varying levels of depth and engagement. 

Tracks:

Breakout sessions will be divided into tracks to cater to diverse interests and backgrounds:

  • Student Track: Tailored for pre-dental and dental students exploring topics relevant to their educational journey and future careers.
  • Dentist Track: Geared towards practicing dentists, focusing on leadership, technology, and professional development.

Continuing Education (CE) Accreditation:

AAWD is an approved AGD-PACE provider of Continuing Education (CE) credits.
If your session qualifies for CE credit, please provide the AGD Subject Code and ensure your learning objectives are measurable and CE-appropriate.

This description will be used in marketing materials and the event program. Please write in complete sentences and ensure your copy is polished and publication-ready (grammar, spelling, and tone). Avoid academic citations or abbreviations unfamiliar to a general dental audience.

List 3–5 measurable learning outcomes using “Participants will be able to…” statements. These will appear in CE materials exactly as written, so please ensure objectives are concise, specific, and publication-ready.

The program will include a variety of session lengths. If your presentation can be edited to fit multiple lengths, please select all appropriate options. 3 hour sessions should include an interactive, hands-on portion.
