The American Association of Women Dentists (AAWD) invites you to submit proposals for speaking engagements at our highly anticipated 2024 Annual Conference. This year's theme, "Innovate, Inspire, Impact: Women Dentists in the Digital Era," reflects our commitment to exploring cutting-edge advancements, promoting leadership in dentistry, and addressing the unique roles of women in the ever-evolving digital landscape.

Session Topics:

We are seeking dynamic speakers to lead sessions on topics that align with our theme. Submissions are encouraged in the following key areas:

• Dental Leadership: Strategies for fostering leadership skills, mentorship, and career advancement.
• Emerging Technologies: Exploring the latest trends and innovations shaping the future of dentistry in the digital age.
• Women in Dentistry: Addressing challenges, celebrating successes, and promoting gender equity in the dental profession.
• Wellness: Strategies for maintaining personal and professional well-being in the demanding field of dentistry.

Session Duration:

Sessions will be scheduled for 1, 2, or 3 hours, allowing for in-depth exploration of the chosen topics. You are also welcome to submit a proposal for a 20 minute mini-presentation for consideration in a panel session with like topics.

Tracks:

Breakout sessions will be divided into tracks to cater to diverse interests and backgrounds:

• Student Track: Tailored for dental students exploring topics relevant to their educational journey and future careers.
• Active Dentist Track: Geared towards practicing dentists, focusing on leadership, technology, and professional development.
• Academia Track: Designed for educators and researchers, delving into advancements in dental education and academic pursuits.

Continuing Education (CE) Accreditation:

AAWD is accredited to offer Continuing Education (CE) credits through AGD-PACE. All proposals must comply with PACE guidelines to ensure the highest educational standards are met.

Submissions Deadline:

Submissions will be accepted through March 8, 2024.

Selected speakers will have the opportunity to showcase their expertise, contribute to the advancement of dental knowledge, and engage with a diverse audience of dental professionals.
