In honor of Women’s History Month, AAWD presents Paths & Passions: A Journey Through Dental Specialties, a dynamic panel conversation showcasing the diverse experiences of women specialists across dentistry. From surgical and diagnostic disciplines to pediatric, prosthodontic, periodontal, radiologic, and pain-focused care, this session offers an authentic look at what inspires women to pursue specialty paths and how they navigate the opportunities and challenges along the way.
In the spirit of the 2026 International Women’s Day theme, “Give to Gain,” the program highlights how mentorship, community, and shared experience accelerate growth for women in dentistry.
You will also hear from AAWD’s philanthropic pillars — the Smiles for Success Foundation and the Gillette Hayden Memorial Foundation — as they spotlight how they are advancing opportunities, care, and support for women in dentistry and the communities they serve.
